Skin Care

Skin Care Basic:

The skin is the outer covering of the body. It is the largest organ of our body. It has multiple layers to guard the underlying organ and component of our body. Skin plays a key role in protecting (the body) against pathogens and excessive water loss. Its other functions are insulation, temperature regulation, sensation, synthesis of vitamin D, and the protection of vitamin B floats.

To keep your skin shiny and healthy you need Proactive skin care. Maintain the following roles in your daily life and enjoy a youthful and attractive look of your skin:
  • Try to avoid sunlight: as much as possible. Wear sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) even if it's cloudy or you don't plan on spending a lot of time outdoors. If you sweat a lot or go swimming, reapply sunscreen every 1½ to 2 hours (even if the bottle says the sunscreen is waterproof). You can also cover your body as much as possible to protect your skin from sunlight.
  • Moisturize your skin: A moisturizer is a substance that helps your skin trap moisture in the cells, specifically located in the face. If your skin is constantly exposed to wind, heat, cold, pollution or sun you need to moisturize it daily. Moisturizing your skin helps prevent premature wrinkles and fine lines. It helps keep the skin moist and protected all day. They sometimes contain sunscreen for protection from the sun. It makes the skin feel hydrated and not parched. Using moisturizers once or twice a day will return your skin's natural, healthy glow. Your skin will also feel smoother and silkier and look younger.
  • Quit smoking: If you smoke, the best way to protect your skin is to quit. Smoking can speed up the normal aging process of your skin, contributing to wrinkles. These skin changes may occur after only 10 years of smoking. The more cigarettes you smoke and the longer you smoke, the more skin wrinkling you're likely to have — even though the early skin damage from smoking may be hard for you to see. Smoking narrows the tiny blood vessels in the outermost layers of skin, which decreases blood flow. This depletes the skin of oxygen and nutrients, such as vitamin A, that are important to skin health. Smoking also damages collagen and elastic — fibers that give your skin its strength and elasticity. To quit smoking your will power is enough.

    • Treat your skin gently: Daily cleansing and shaving can take a toll on your skin, so keep it gentle. Hot water and long showers or baths remove oils from your skin. Limit your bath or shower time, and use warm rather than hot water. Try to avoid strong soaps. That can strip oil from your skin. Instead, choose mild cleansers.  After washing or bathing, gently pat or blot your skin dry with a towel so that some moisture remains on your skin.
    • Healthy diet: Eat a healthy diet to make your skin soft, fresh and unblemished you may by some skin care products form market. But all the expensive skin care products in the world won't achieve healthy skin without help from your diet. A healthy diet can help you look and feel your best. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins  for Better Skin these will help cleanse your skin from the inside out so you can look and feel great:.. The association between diet and acne isn't clear — but research suggests that a diet rich in vitamin C and low in fats and carbohydrates may promote younger looking skin.
    • Stress Management: Stress is your natural way of our body responding to any kind of demand. It can be caused by both good and bad experiences. When people feel stressed their bodies react by releasing chemicals into the blood. These chemicals give people more energy and strength, which can be a good thing if their stress is caused by physical danger. But uncontrolled stress can make your skin more sensitive and trigger acne breakouts and other skin problems. To encourage healthy skin — and a healthy state of mind — takes steps to manage your stress. Set reasonable limits, make little bit of space where we simply stop and do nothing. Practice yoga, tai chi or meditation to help you learn to physically and mentally relax. Taking a few deep breaths is one of the most effective ways to reduce and manage stress. Scale back your to-do list and make time to do the things you enjoy. You may get a dramatic result which is out of your expectation.
